Fees & Funding

As a setting we aim to support parents and staff by offering as much flexibility as possible with regards to attendance, therefore the hours booked are a personal contract between you and the setting and start and finish on the hour or half hour.

Your child may attend all year (Full Time) or during the Early Education Funding (EEF) term time (TTO). The EEF term dates are set by the Local Authority each Easter.

Current fees are £8.30 per hour and are charged per half hour.

Meal Fees are:       Breakfast              £1.75

                                Lunch                    £3.65

                                Tea                        £3.15

EEF is available for some children from the term after they are 9 months old until they go to school – please see the website https://www.beststartinlife.gov.uk/ to check eligibility.

We accept all EEF funding between 9am and 3pm over the 37 weeks of the term time.

We charge a voluntary charge of £5 per visit for all funded children. This will apply on the days that the funding applies to cover the cost of consumables.

The charge helps to cover the cost of all sorts of things, such as our weekly Forest School Session, Louby Lou Storytelling sessions and different events and activities throughout the year such as end of term celebrations, our online learning journey and our daily morning and afternoon snack, which is all currently included in funded hours/hourly rate.

This charge is completely optional in line with Ofsted and DfE requirements and will not affect your child's quality of care or sessions provided, if you choose not to pay it.

Fees are paid in advance and cover a calendar month and must be paid by the 1st of the month.

We accept all forms of government funding, as well as Tax Free Childcare, student childcare grants, and workplace vouchers.
